The main story of our week was the Suspense Puppetry Festival. Andy loves marionettes so we always try and see a few shows during the festival. This time round we saw three shows. As photos weren’t allowed in the shows (understandably) I needed to find another way to document them. I kept the programme for the festival but in the end opted to use the tickets instead, so that was the starting point for my spread this week.
On the left hand page I used one of two filler cards that are free downloads from Digital Design Essentials. I used the Nom Nom card and added some journaling about a trip to a favourite pub of ours before one of the shows. Next to that is a shot of our meal and I added one of the die cut words from the Black & White Story Kit. The other photo is of the pub’s cat who has it’s on chaise longue right next to the fireplace! I added some journaling to the photo before I printed it and added another die cut. Next to that I used another filler card.
On the right hand page I used a the Yay-Nay card and added a chipboard arrow pointing towards the Yay to record that this time I really enjoyed the festival. Sometimes I find puppet shows too twee but the three shows we saw were excellent. In the next pocket I created a journal card using part of another digital card from the Black & White digital kit. In the final pocket I used a journal card from the physical Black & White Story kit and added the tickets.
