Today is reveal day at Kellie Stamps and I’m sharing a project I made with two of the sets being released; 'Magic' and 'Underline It'.
We had a very quiet November so I decided to go for an overview of the last few weeks of the month. Kellie’s new releases worked well for this and I helped me document snapshots of what has been going on in our lives right now.
Starting on the left hand side I used a digital journal card from Studio Calico that I recoloured so the stripes were orange instead of yellow and added some journaling. To finish it off I added the ‘Maybe’ wood veneer which tied in with the theme of my journaling. Next to that is the first of the photo cards I made using the new releases from Kellie Stamps. All the cards were made by creating a 3x4 blank canvas in Photoshop, adding a square photo and then using the digital stamps underneath to act as a title for the photo and I love how the simple combination of photo and text worked. The final pocket on the left hand side is another Studio Calico card with journaling.
On the right side I created more journalling cards using parts of patterned digital cards on the top with space underneath to add text, along with more of the photo cards. The first three photo cards used the stamps from ‘Underline It’ but the last card used stamps from the ‘Magic’ set. This set also includes some underline style stamps so the two sets mix really well together. I’ll definitely be using the two in my December Daily album.
