Since changing to a handbook in October I’ve moved away from weekly spreads and tend to create spreads that focus on an event or a weekend. This spread is of one of my weekends back in November. I got to eat two very tasty meals; cheese, olives and wine at La Fromagerie and an open smoked salmon sandwich from a stall at the Real Foods Market at the Southbank Centre. Saturday morning I attended a photography meet-up run by Zara from The London Photographers School.
I had a lot of photos from the photography meet-up but not all were the most exciting but as a collage they gave a nice overview of the day. I went for orange and neutrals as my colour scheme to work with the photos that I had printed in colour. Other photos I changed to black & white so that they matched my the colour scheme.
I used the orange striped PL card to journal the story of the weekend and on the collage page I used various PL cards and paper I had in my stash. Embellishments include diamond puffy stickers, vellum weekday tabs and an enamel dot from past Studio Calico PL kits. I stamped the date next to the vellum weekday tab and the grey cameras square is a stamp used repeatedly to create a pattern.
