This wasn’t the greatest of weeks. I’d been feeling rough since the weekend and had hoped to shake the cold I’d caught before my birthday. The ‘a bad case of the blahs’ PL card summed up how I was feeling perfectly. We did have some pancakes on Shove Tuesday but my photo skills were a bit off (I blame the cold) but I like this slightly blurry action shot of Andy flipping pancakes. I had managed a bit of crafting at the weekend and included a photo I’d taken at my desk and included this ‘Make More’ PL card.
I was still feeling pretty bad on my birthday but I’d not left the house all week so I was determined to go out as it was our birthdays celebration (my husband and my birthdays are only a few days apart). We went to Chelmsford for the day and had lunch before heading off to a beer festival. I took a photo of the beer glass design and next to it created my own PL card with supplies from my stash, stamps and added journalling with my typewriter. Underneath I added a Friday transparency, a business card from the place we had lunch and stamped onto a grey tag that I cut down to fit the pocket.
The last two pockets record a trip to Brixton for a work training session. I like to try and get a decent cup of coffee before these sort of events so I headed over to Brixton early to have a look around the Brixton Village Market (not really a village) and got coffee at Federation Coffee. I took a shot of my coffee along with the cool stencilling they’d used on their tables. They stamped a loyalty card so I included that as well and finished it off with a little handwritten journaling and a weekday vellum paperclip tab.
