Today I’m sharing a project life spread that documents our visit to one of the Safari Nights that London Zoo hold in June and July. We met a friend as part of her birthday celebrations and had an enjoyable evening exploring the zoo and eating from the street food stalls.
Starting on the left side the first project life card I made using a piece of a patterned project life card and to match it to another project life card I used in this spread I added brushstroke lines with a pental brush pen. I then used Kellie Stamps ‘Alpha Nut’ stamp set to stamp zoo. Next to that I used a circle punch to cut out the image from the zoo's leaflet and added it to a black & white project life card. Underneath is a picture of our friend meeting a ‘giraffe’ which was one of the performance artists dressed in animal costumes. To embellish the photo I added a piece of a patterned project life card cut with a circle punch and a chipboard star. The final photo is of another of the performance artists sneaking up on someone and Istamped directly on the photo with a stamp from Kellie Stamps ‘Seriously’ set.
On the second page I added a die cut banner and cut down a Seven Paper sticker to embellish the tiger photo and next to that used a project life card from Studio Calico. Underneath is a picture of the penguins at feeding time and I used another die cut to embellish the photo. The final project life card is a combination of a card that already had brushstroke lines but I changed the top of it by using another patterned project life card.
