Today I’m sharing a weekly spread from June. On the left hand side I included a photo I took on an evening out in London as we walked across the ‘wobbly’ bridge. Next to it I created a filler card by cutting down a 4x6 project life card to 3x4. In the bottom two pockets I used a Studio Calico project life card to record the details of our evening and included a photo of our meal. On the photo I added a die cut label that I cut down and stamped using a stamp from Kellie Stamps ‘Brunch’ set.
On the right hand page the top pockets document my trip to the new Lush shop on Oxford Street. I’ve been buying bath products from Lush since they started and hoped they might have bought back some of my old favourites. Unfortunately they hadn’t but I did pick up some new products that are exclusive to the shop. The photo that I took at Lush was already very colourful so all I added was a yellow chipboard piece. The journal card was made by cutting a 3x4 card down and adding it to another plainer card, then used Kellie Stamps ‘Alpha Nut’ set to stamp Lush.
The final two pockets record our Saturday when we went to a beer festival and a meal afterwards. I used my typewriter to type up the journalling for the day on a piece of office paper and added it to a project life card (a great way to make sure I don’t ruin a card if I mistype something!). On the photo next to it I added a strip of the card left over from the 4x6 card I’d cut up and added stamping using one of the stamps from the travel grab bag that Kellie is selling this month.
