Today I’m sharing a project life spread from a day trip we took at the end of June. A friend joined us to get a bus over to a nearby town to check out an old grotto. It was a hot day so it was nice to get into the coolness of the grotto and it was fun exploring the tunnels and chambers.
On the lefthand side I documented our time at the grotto. I used a 4x6 card cut in half behind an instax print and added a paperclip from the July Messy Box plus stamped the instax print with a stamp from Kellie Stamps Travel Grab Bag. Next to that I used a filler card from Studio Calico. Underneath I used another project life card from Studio Calico and added journalling with my typewriter and also included a photo of our friend inside the grotto.
On the righthand side I recorded our afternoon and evening. I used a photo I took on our walk to a nearby town and in the pocket next to it I used a currently plastic word embellishment that came with a Studio Calico Project Life kit and added some patterned vellum behind it. The bottom two pockets document our meal at a restaurant and the rather sexist waiter who decided to give my husband and friend pint glasses but gave me a half pint glass! I used a project life card from Studio Calico and added the ‘This Girl Needs a Drink’ from Kellie Stamps and some journalling. Next to that I used the other half of the 4x6 card I had cut down behind another instax print and again I added stamping and another paperclip to finish it off.
