Today I’m sharing a project life spread that documents our weekend away at the Ely Folk Festival. Starting on the left hand side I created a project life card using some navy card and added a star from the July Messy Box. To the star I added alphabet thickers and underneath added a piece of card that I had stamped using one of the stamps from Kellie Stamps new ‘What?’ stamp set. The photo next to it is of one of the bands that we saw at the festival. I added a chipboard piece from a past Messy Box and used another of Kellie's stamps to add ‘#LOVE’. I also added a die cut piece and used the same technique a few times on this spread; I created them by cutting down a Studio Calico die cut label to the size I wanted and adding another piece of card behind it. Underneath the top two pockets I added a 4x6 journalling card and covered up the part that had said winter with another of the die cut embellishments.
On the right hand side I used my fuse tool to customise my own page protector. I plan to use a 4x6 vertical pocket in my next spread so I needed to use the same layout for this spread. I created the journalling card for the bottom pocket with some pieces of cards from the July Messy Box along with another star. To add the stamping I used Kellie Stamps new ‘Joy’ and ‘Cray Cray’ stamp sets. Once this card was in place I used the fuse tool to seal it closed (first making sure the reverse side of the card was how I wanted it!). I then added the 4x6 photo and used the fuse tool to make a pocket. In the final long vertical pocket I used part of a 4x6 card that I cut down to size and rearranged a bit and added a chipboard star.
Supplies: ‘What?’, ‘Cray Cray’ and ‘Joy’ stamp sets from Kellie Stamps (available to pre-order in September), July Messy Box from A Beautiful Mess, Past Studio Calico Project Life Kits.
