Today I’m sharing a Project Life spread from the end of January. I used the digital Encouragement Bubbles and Journal Cards that Ali Edwards released last month and there were perfect for documenting a tough week.
I started the left hand page with journaling about our week and used the ‘one day at a time’ from the Encouragement Bubble set. A lot of what has been going on in our lives recently hasn’t been photographable so instead of photos I wrote a quick note on what was happening each day. In the middle pockets I used the ‘you got this’ from the Encouragement Journal cards set and a photo. In the bottom pocket I used a photo of me working on the heart project life spread I made a few weeks ago. Crafting has helped me deal with some of the stress we’ve been experiencing recently so I wanted to document that. Next to the photo I used a filler card which is a digital journal card from Studio Calico that I recoloured to match the rest of the spread. To finish it off I used the ‘crafters gonna craft’ chipboard piece.
On the right hand page I documented a trip we took on the Saturday. We decided we needed to get out and have some fun to wind down from the week. In the top pocket I included a photo of a flower stall at the market and paired it with this pretty filler card from Life.Love.Paper along with a chipboard piece from the Heart Story Kit. In the middle pocket I used a photo and a journaling card I created by cutting and pasting ‘this should cheer you up’ from another digital journal card. In the bottom 4x6 pocket I used a photo of the flowers I bought and a pint I enjoyed. The journaling card is another card from the Encouragement Journal card set by Ali.
