Today I’m sharing a project life spread that documents a boat trip we took on the Norfolk Broads. I used the digital Summer Passport Badges from Ali Edwards to create filler cards as the outdoorsy theme and colours were a great match for the photos from the day.
Starting on the left hand page I created the ‘Let’s Go’ filler card by placing the badge onto a plain 3x4 canvas and then colouring the background to match. After it was printed I added white alpha stickers. In the middle pocket I typed and printed out plain journaling and then added the ‘story’ wood veneer. In the bottom pocket I used a 4x6 photo and added a cork asterisk and more alphas to add ‘this view’.
On the right hand page I used a card from the Wild story kit that matched well with the Summer Passport badges. After it was printed I used a tick stamp from my stash. To the photo next to it I added a chipboard piece, again from the Wild kit. In the middle pockets is the second filler card I created with the Summer Passport Badges. Again I used a 3x4 canvas, coloured the background to match the spread and then recoloured the badge from orange to blue. In the bottom pocket I used a Studio Calico patterned journal card that I recoloured and added a cork arrow from my stash. Then finally I used my tiny attacher to add two staples for a bit more texture.
